Ergina Xydous is Art Historian (Magister University of Vienna) experienced and certified in ValuationsErgina Xydous is Art Historian (Magister University of Vienna) experienced and certified in Valuations. Up to 1997 she has been working at contemporary art galleries, auction houses and art publishers. From 1997 to 2001, while employed at the insurance company Nordstern Colonia Hellas, she contributed in the formation of the first Art Insurance Dpt. in Greece. From 2001 onwards she is working independently as Art Valuer, Loss Adjuster and Consultant. She is since 2009 Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), London and since 2011 Member of RICS’ International Personal Property / Arts & Antiques Board.
She is Member of the Association of Greek Valuers. She is founding Member of the Association of Greek Art Historians. She is Member of the Registry of Certified Valuers, which is supervised by the Ministry of Finance of Greece. She speaks English and German fluently. She is native speaker of Greek. She possesses good knowledge of French and basic knowledge of Italian and Arabic.
